Die Integration von Innovation, Arbeit und Lernen in die Hochschulbildung – das Beispiel des Lernens am Arbeitsplatz

Abstract

In diesem Aufsatz wird das Lernen am Arbeitsplatz (Work Based Learning, WBL) als besondere Form einer arbeitsintegrierten Lernumgebung behandelt und mit Lernumgebungen und -typologien verglichen, die in Deutschland und Großbritannien zum Einsatz kommen. Die Generierung von Wissen am Arbeitsplatz wird neu bewertet und aktuelle Ansätze der Kooperation von Hochschulen und Unternehmen auf den Prüfstand gestellt – zentrale These des Aufsatzes ist, dass die Hochschulen eine engere Anbindung an die Arbeitswelt erreichen müssen. Anschließend werden Verwendung und Bedeutung der Anerkennung von früher erworbenen Kenntnissen (Accreditation of Prior Learning, APL) in Kontexten des lebenslangen Lernens beleuchtet, eine Reihe kurzer Fallstudien angeführt und abschließend zukünftige Herausforderungen und erforderliche Schritte zur praktischen Umsetzung von WBL-Systemen behandelt.
