Neben der Kaufkraftstabilitat in der binnenorientierten Betrachtung ist der AuBenwert einer Wahrung für international verflochtene Volkswirtschaften von gleichfalls groBer Bedeutung. Gerade kleinen Landern fehlt es regelma- Big an Einfluss und Gestaltungspotential, um (starken) Schwankungen des Wechselkurses ihrer jeweiligen Landeswahrung entgegenzutreten. Die Ver- bindung mit geeigneten Partnern zur Errichtung einer Gemeinschaftswahrung stellt eine denkbare Handlungsalternative dar.
