Abstract
In the previous two chapters, we exploited the temporal information from a single microphone signal to derive different techniques for speech enhancement in the STFT domain. In this chapter and the next one, we will exploit both the temporal and spatial information available from signals picked up by a determined number of microphones at different positions in the acoustics space in order to mitigate the noise effect. The focus of this chapter is on the derivation of optimal gains for noise reduction with a microphone array.
