Abstract
The purpose of this study is to develop an intelligent, automatic and real-time measuring and controlling system for grain storage. The system consists of a star wireless sensor network based on ZigBee protocol, a remote data transmission unit, a monitoring and management system running on PC. The Local and remote monitoring and management systems are established on the LabVIEW platform. MATLAB is mix programmed with LabVIEW to set up and solve a mechanism model which can predict the distribution of temperature and moisture content of grain as well as the temperature and humidity of interstitial air in the grain bulk, so as to provide references for the ventilation.
