Abstract

The collaboration group as the basic organization unit of mobile collaboration activity is an important concept, and the forming and feature of collaboration group is a key factor in constructing the mobile collaboration application. So, aiming at the restricted function raised by mobile computing pattern to group collaboration, a novel model MPCG was proposed. Firstly, the mobility model of collaborative group under mobile computing environment was proposed. Then, the mobility pattern description was given. Subsequently, the restricted functions of group collaboration raised by mobile computing pattern were analysed. And, the simulation and result analysis was done. The result indicated that the novel model has the correct semantic, and the ability depicting effectively the restricted function of group collaboration raised by mobile computing pattern.
