Abstract

The temporality and uniqueness of project-based organizations are major obstacle for organizational learning and leading to massive loss of organizational knowledge. In order to solve this problem, strengthening the project knowledge management is very important. This paper described the meaning and function of project knowledge management, introduced lifecycle and knowledge management into project management, and forwarded project knowledge management integrated model based project lifecycle. The model includes project layer knowledge management model and organization layer knowledge management model. The aim of project layer knowledge management is to realize knowledge accumulation. The purpose of organization layer knowledge management is to realize knowledge sharing of organizations so as to improve organizational project management ability and learning ability through team learning and organizational learning.
