Abstract

In some forms of DSD there is a complex genital anomaly, affecting the development of the genitalia, as well as a range of other structures in the body. Identification of these syndromes is important as the non-genital anomalies have a profound effect on the prognosis. This chapter describes some of the more common syndromes.
