Abstract
On the horizon to distribute a real-time multimedia traffic over an IP infrastructure, the provider must meet several QoS constraint particularly Packet Loss and latency of transmission. With the aim to meet these expectations, we must establish a platform for control and improvement of QoS of the IPTV traffic. The main objective of this paper is to study, by critical point if view, the current QoS mechanisms by analyzing the composition of IPTV traffic in the context of IMS with the performance evaluation of current tools for improving service quality of IPTV in IMS, then we propose a solution that that aims to differentiate the IPTV traffic with prioritization the broadcasting one under other based on DSCP values.
