Abstract

In this Study, Poly (butylene terephthalate) (PBT)/Single-walled carbon nanotubes composite nanofibers mats were prepared by electrospinning, being directly deposited in the form of a random fibers web. The effect of different loads of single-walled nanotubes on the morphology of the electrospun PBT/SWCNTs composite nanofibers was investigated with scanning electron microscopy (SEM). SEM observations indicated that the presence of SWCNTs resulted in finer nanofibers for lower loading; however, a broader distribution, especially for the higher diameter ranges was found for nanofibers with higher amounts of carbon nanotubes.
