Dieses abschließende Kapitel enthält Grundgedanken zu der Einführung von Kanban in einem Softwareentwicklungsprojekt. Kanban kann mit geringem Aufwand und hoher Akzeptanz eingeführt werden, die Einführung von Kanban sollte jedoch nicht gedankenlos geschehen. Zwingend an den Start eines Softwareentwicklungsprojekts ist sie nicht gebunden. Sie kann auch in einem laufenden Softwareentwicklungsprojekt erfolgen, dessen Rahmenbedingungen (wie etwa Termine, Budget und Personen) bereits feststehen.
