Die Methoden der Synthetischen Biologie werden in diesem Beitrag anhand des Designs und der Konstruktion von synthetischen genetischen Netzwerken veranschaulicht. Aus dieser technologiegetriebenen Disziplin entwickeln sich bereits erste technische Anwendungen.
