Abstract
The deficit of mathematics consists of a lower than expected capacity to perform mathematical operations (according to chronological age). Children with learning deficits are often discriminated against by classmates suffering the effect of “bullyng” or often directed to special rooms for appropriating the skills students unassimilated. However, it helps them feel more discouraged with the school environment. When school failure is evident, a multidisciplinary team tries to help them through medical treatment. This paper presents a method using games that was developed to assist children with cognitive training some math skills, using computer resources and strategies that are presents in games for entertainment. It was concluded that the computerized method developed allows the children to develop math skills and enabling a constructive integration between thinking, feeling and action, and encouraging the child to construct knowledge.
