Abstract
This paper presents a comparative study of the effectiveness of metallic materials frequently used for magnetic and radio frequency shielding in magnetic resonance rooms in Brazilian hospitals. We simulated and compared the shielding behavior of aluminum, copper, silicon steel and low carbon steel. After the simulation was held a short discussion and also to compare their results.
