Abstract
Business paradigms with focus on Service Oriented Architectures and Business Process Management in the context of today’s organizations have been conditioned to expect fast and flexible process which can provide the technological infrastructure supporting their business processes.
Cuba’s biotechnology industry is one of the economic and scientific fields with complex business processes. The Molecular Immunology Center, one of the exponents of this sector in our country has opted for the organization and excellence of its manufacturing processes so it has taken the road to manage their processes efficiently.
The present article describes the development process and architecture of the proposed solution to take the initiative SOA / BPM in order to achieve operational efficiency in the Industrial Operations Division of Molecular Immunology Center (DOICIM). This project which involves operations management emerged as a joint collaborative project between the Molecular Immunology Center and the University of Computer Science (UCI).
