Zusammenfassung
Die Temperatur des Erdreichs wird bis zu einer Teufe von 10 m bis 15 m von der Sonne beeinflusst, wie es Abb. 11.1 zeigt. So kommt es, dass es in einer Teufe von etwa 7 m unter der Oberfläche im Winter wärmer ist als im Sommer. Winzer wissen dies und nutzen diesen Umstand seit eh und je für ihre Weinkeller aus.
