JOHN BELL’S WISDOM holds appeal for foundationalists of all stripes. Just count how many times he’s mentioned in this book! What makes Bell such a darling of the quantum-foundations community? Well, first of all, there’s Bell’s trademark wit, famously on display in Speakables and Unspeakables in Quantum Mechanics, a collection of classic essays that has achieved pop-culture status.
