Abstract
The depth information contained in the image sequence which produced by the movement of the camera along the each axis is analyzed in this paper, especially for the depth information along the optical axis. Then, the corresponding relationship of the translational vector and the disparity vector under the translational movement of the camera is deduced. Finally, the algorithm for extracting the depth information based on the resolution of disparity vector is given, and the validity of the algorithm is proved by experiment.
