Zusammenfassung

Operative Eingriffe an der A. carotis werden häufig in regionalanästhesiologischen Verfahren durchgeführt. Neben der tiefen direkten Blockade der Zervikalnerven besteht die Möglichkeit mittels Ultraschall gezielt die Region um die A. carotis zu infiltrieren. Beide Verfahren werden in diesem Kapitel dargestellt.
