Abstract

The temperature on the inside of the wall is lower compared to that of both sides, thus creating a heat flux towards the inside from both sides and progressively increasing the inside temperatures until the latter stabilize, depending on certain physical characteristics of the material. The example shows how the entire wall reaches temperature t 1, and the heat transfer through the wall stops.
