Cybernetic Human HRP-4C: A Humanoid Robot with Human-Like Proportions

  • Conference paper

Part of the book series: Springer Tracts in Advanced Robotics ((STAR,volume 70))

Abstract

Cybernetic human HRP-4C is a humanoid robot whose body dimensions were designed to match the average Japanese young female. In this paper, we explain the aim of the development, realization of human-like shape and dimensions, research to realize human-like motion and interactions using speech recognition.
