Zusammenfassung
In diesem Kapitel werden Grundlagen und Assessment-Verfahren zur Beurteilung sensorisch-integrativer Funktionen und der Praxie in der Ergotherapie beschrieben. Im Prozess der Befunderhebung werden spezifische Komponenten der Sensorischen Integration, die in Zusammenhang mit dem Beschäftigungsverhalten stehen, gemessen und überprüft. Formale und freie Beobachtungen des Verhaltens auf Anzeichen einer Sensorischen Integrationsstörung helfen der Therapeutin, zugrunde liegende Defizite wahrzunehmen, die sich auf die Handlungsperformanzauswirken.Die Interpretation dieser Ergebnisse dient als Richtschnur für die Intervention mit dem Ziel der Verbesserung der Performanz (Ayres 1972a).
