Wenn Menschen an einer schweren psychischen Erkrankung leiden, sind immer auch die Bezüge zur sozialen Lebenswelt mitbeteiligt. Viele Kranke haben keinen Partner, keine Partnerin. Sie verfügen nur über wenige Freundschaften. Manche sind ohne Arbeit und Beruf. Die soziale Einbettung ist beeinträchtigt.
