Zusammenfassung
Ein geringes Ausmaß an Selbstkontrolle ist als ein gemeinsames Merkmal vieler psychischer und psychiatrischer Störungen anzusehen. Neben der Problematik (Symptomatik) im engeren Sinne ist es für Patientenkennzeichnend, dass sie nur in geringem Maße in der Lage sind, eine kurzfristige aversive Situation zu tolerieren bzw. auf kurzfristige Bedürfnisbefriedigung zu verzichten.
