Zusammenfassung

Unter endotrachealer Intubation versteht man das Einbringen eines Tubus in die Trachea. Dies kann durch den Mund (orotracheal) oder die Nase (nasotracheal) sowie durch Tracheotomie oder Koniotomie (transtracheal) erfolgen (Schulte am Esch et al. 2000).
