Zusammenfassung

➲ Die Ergebnisse der multimodalen Therapie des Magenkarzinoms sind weiterhin unbefriedigend. Einerseits stellt nach kurativer Gastrektomie und ausgedehnter Lymphknotendissektion das Lokalrezidiv je nach Tumorstadium in 35–80% ein erhebliches onkologisches Problem dar, andererseits ist der Tumor zu diesem Zeitpunkt bereits häufig disseminiert (Brüwer et al. 2000).
