Zusammenfassung
Obwohl die radikale Ösophagusresektion mit einer hohen Morbidität und Letalität behaftet ist, stellt sie noch den Goldstandard bei frühen ösophagealen Malignomen dar. Da das Risiko von Lymphknotenmetastasen bei Dysplasien und mukosalen Karzinomen im Barrett-Ösophagusundvonaufdie Mukosalimitierten Plattenepithelfrühkarzinomen gegen Null tendiert (Hölscher et al. 1997; Tajima et al. 2000), erscheint der Trend zu minimalinvasiven Therapieverfahren durchaus sinnvoll und wünschenswert.
