Zusammenfassung
Instruktionsdesign (Instructional Design, ID) hat sich seit den späten fünfziger Jahren in Nordamerika und später in den übrigen englischsprachigen Ländern, aber auch in den Niederlanden, Belgien und Finnland als wissenschaftlich-technologische Teildisziplin der pädagogischen Psychologie bzw. der empirischen Erziehungswissenschaft entwickelt. Die Grundidee war stets die systematische und vor allem die differenzierte Anwendung pädagogisch-psychologischer Prinzipien bei der Konzeption von Lerngelegenheiten bzw. Lernumgebungen.
