Abstract
In the final analysis, interactive media offer us an entirely new way to think about stories and the act of storytelling. Seeing the story as a spatial experience is a key element to this transition. To walk through a story is to explore with the aid of an author/creator — the museum builder if you will. At any given time, your involvement in the experience gives you the change to step out and chose the narrative direction you will take and become in part the author yourself.
