Abstract

The space-borne means of the Earth observation developed during the last decades cover practically all the significant spheres of the nature-society system (NSS) functioning. Note should be taken here that, unfortunately, these means were created without considering the global modelling results, which in many cases has led to surplus information of satellite systems because most of the global data remained unclaimed. Nevertheless, now the satellite systems give data on the following NSS parameters (Kramer, 1995; Summer et al., 2003; Reichle et al., 1999; Lockwood, 2001; Hotuntsev, 2001):
