Zusammenfassung
Die Erfassung der Schmerzintensität und Schmerzqualität spielt auf allen Ebenen bevvegungsbezogener Interventionen, d.h. in Prävention,Therapie und Rehabilitation, eine wichtige Rolle. Gleichzeitig stellt die Messung des komplexen Phänomens »Schmerz« nach wie voreine groβe Herausforderung dar und spiegelt sich in derVielzahl subjektiver und objektiver Methoden der experimentellen und klinischen Algesimetrie wieder. Diese werden im Rahmen dieses Kapitels im Hinblick auf ihre Indikationsbereiche sowie diagnostische und prognostische Aussagekraft exemplarisch dargestellt und in der praktischen Anwendung besprochen.
