Zusammenfassung

Ektoparasitosen sind Dermatosen, die durch Parasiten hervorgerufen werden, die auf der Hautoberfläche oder in der oberen Epidermis, im Stratum granulosum und Stratum corneum, verbleiben und dort zu Krankheitserscheinungen führen. Die in Europa wichtigsten Erkrankungen sind Infestationen mit Läusen (Pedikulose) und mit Milben. Unter den Milbenerkrankungen stellt die Skabies (Krätze) die häufigste Erkrankung dar. Seltener sind andere Milbenerkrankungen wie die Trombidiose (Erntekrätze) und die Cheyletiellosis.
