Zusammenfassung
Am Auge können praktisch alle Erreger unter bestimmten Umständen eine Entzündung hervorrufen. Infektionen kommen periokular, an den Tränenwegen, am äußeren und vorderen sowie hinteren Augenabschnitt vor. Exogene Infektionen können von hämatogen oder lokal fortgeleiteten und infektionsassoziierten Entzündungen unterschieden werden.
