Abstract
The occupational hazards of polyurethane (PU) chemicals affect mainly the airways and eyes, and can cause rhinitis, asthma, hypersensitive pneumonitis or alveolitis, conjunctivitis, and chronie obstructive lung disease. Isocyanates are also toxic and poisonous chemieals (Cronin 1980; Adams 1983; Israeli et al 1981).
