Abstract
Contact dermatitis to plants is extremely common among the general population in the United States, and occupational contact dermatitis to plants may wen be more common than reported. Examples of situations where risk is high would include poison-ivy dermatitis in American agriculture, irritant dermatitis in food processing, and protein contact dermatitis to latex protein in healthcare. Some of the more prevalent forms of plant dermatitis will be addressed in more detail followed by reactions found in certain occupations that are more at risk for plant dermatitis.
