Zusammenfassung

Gynäkologen stellen nach Allgemeinärzten und Internisten mit 10.911 Ärzten die drittgrößte Arztgruppe, haben aber 2003 mit Arzneimittelausgaben von 815 Mio.€ nur einen Umsatzanteil von 3,4% an den gesamten Arzneimittelausgaben im Bundesgebiet Im Verordnungsprofi! der Gynäkologen dominieren unter den 50 umsatzstärksten Arzneimitteln weiterhin 17 Präparate der Hormonersatztherapie, gefolgt von 11 hormonalen Kontrazeptiva und je 4 Präparaten der Gonadotropine, Zytostatika und Gonadoreline.
