Abstract

Changes to the general purpose EGS4 code were performed in order to include anomalous dispersion effects in the simulation of elastic scattering from atomic bound electrons. Moreover, experimental checks with 59.54 keV photons incident on Hf and Pb targets, at 90° and 120° scattering angles, were carried out.
