Abstract
All the arrangements constructed and manipulated in previous chapters were induced only by line segments, which are, in particular, bounded curves. Such arrangements always have one unbounded face that contains all other arrangement features. In this chapter we explain how to construct arrangements of unbounded curves. For simplicity of exposition, we stay with linear objects and restrict our examples in this chapter to lines and rays. However, the discussion in this chapter, as well as the software described, apply more generally to arbitrary curves in the plane.
