Läsion des N. radialis (◘ Abb. 1, Abb. 2) durch Trauma (z.B. Oberarmschaftfraktur: Nerv wird im Frakturspalt eingeklemmt) oder Kompression. Der M. supinator komprimiert den Nerv, der durch seinen Muskelbauch verläuft. Andere Ursachen sind: drückende Oberarmstützen, Operationen, Radiusfrakturen und Radiusluxationen.
