Zusammenfassung
Bei der intraperitonealen (i.p.-) Chemotherapie handelt es sich um eine lokoregionäre Tumorbehandlung mit bewiesenermaßen effizienten Zytostatika, die über mehrere Zyklen direkt in die freie Bauchhöhle instilliert werden. Dies geschieht gewöhnlich über ein subkutan implantiertes Kathetersystem mit Reservoir. Eine wesentliche Voraussetzung für die i.p.-Chemotherapie ist eine gleichmäßige Verteilung der applizierten Zytostatika und somit eine freie Zugängigkeit zur gesamten Bauchhöhle. Aus diesem Grund sind peritoneale Verwachsungen als Kontraindikation für eine i.p.-Chemotherapie anzusehen. Das Ovarialund das Tubenkarzinom eignen sich für ein solches Vorgehen, da die tumorale Ausbreitung bei beiden Tumorentitäten meist auf das Cavum peritonei begrenzt bleibt.
