Zusammenfassung

Die Entstehung und Aufrechterhaltung psychischer Störungen (► Kap. 1) zu verstehen, ist ein zentrales Ziel der Klinischen Psychologie. Neben den in den nachfolgenden Kapiteln dieses Buches dargestellten störungsspezifischen Erklärungsmodellen sind dazu auch störungsübergreifende (»transdiagnostische«) Ansätze entwickelt worden, von denen die wichtigsten im Folgenden dargestellt werden. Dabei ist zu beachten, dass diese Theorien nicht die »Wirklichkeit« darstellen, sondern selektiv Aspekte dieser Wirklichkeit modellieren.
