Zusammenfassung
Organisationen bestehen, weil die dort arbeitenden Menschen immer wieder ihre Handlungen aufeinander abstimmen. Sie machen das – allgemein betrachtet – durch Interaktion, d. h., indem sie gegenseitig aufeinander einwirken. Die wichtigste Form der Einwirkung auf andere Menschen ist die Kommunikation (vgl. Jablin & Putnam, 2001). Nach der Erläuterung der Bedeutung und einer Abgrenzung der beiden Begriffe werden im Folgenden die wichtigsten Formen der Kommunikation beschrieben. Darauf aufbauend können die beiden grundlegenden und organisationspsychologisch wichtigen Formen der Kommunikation – die interpersonelle und die organisationale Kommunikation – in ihren wesentlichen Merkmalen dargestellt werden (zu einer dritten Variante, die davon ausgeht, dass Organisationen aus Kommunikation und Interaktion bestehen, vgl. Blickle, 2004).
