Zusammenfassung
Eine gute Organisation ist für die Intensivbehandlung aus verschiedenen Gründen unerlässlich: Die Intensivstation versieht ihre Aufgabe innerhalb des komplexen Netzwerkes der Krankenhausversorgung. Sie hat also selber optimal zu funktionieren, aber ist ebenso auf die abgestimmte und reibungslose Funktion der beteiligten Abteilungen und Dienstleister angewiesen. Jede Hemmung im Ablauf kostet Zeit und Geld – und verursacht ggf. sogar ein Gesundheitsrisiko.
