C21H26N2O3 (354.45). Acicular crystals (ethyl acetate), mp 219~222ºC, [α]D25 = −57.5º (c = 1, chloroform); hydrochloride crystals (acetone), mp 230~233ºC. Pharm: Antibacterial (against 30 different pathogenic bacterial strains, 3.7% solution, InRt = 17%); cytotoxic (KB); used in treatment of arteriosclerosis, cerebral wounds and dysemia; vasodilator (dog, iv, 0.5~5.0mg/kg).
