Zusammenfassung
Das Dual Artikular 360° der Firma Biomet (© Biomet UK Limited Waterton Industrial Estate, United Kingdom) ist ein Mitglied aus der bewährten AGC-Familie (»anatomically graduated components«). Es bietet eine rekonstruktive flexible Lösung für die Kniechirurgie, sowohl für komplexe primäre Indikationen als auch Revisionen mit Knochendefekten, bei welchen ein hohes Maß an Varus-/Valgusstabilität nötig ist. Das Design basiert auf dem klinisch erfolgreichen Knieendoprothesensystem AGC, ist ein modulares Knierevisionssystem und hat eine rotierende Plattform. Das DA 360° ist eine Weiterentwicklung des AGC DA, welches bereits seit 1990 implantiert wird. Die erste Modifikation kam mit dem DA 2000 . Seit 2008 liegt die 3.Generation mit dem DA 360° vor. Das DA ist kompatibel mit der AGC-Familie und der Maxim-Familie der Firma Biomet. Das Grundinstrumentarium und die Technik gleichen den übrigen Produkten der AGC-Familie.
