Zusammenfassung
Aufgrund der demographischen Entwicklung mit zunehmender Anzahl an Primärimplantationen von Knieendoprothesen ist zu erwarten, dass auch die Implantationszahl modularer Revisionsendoprothesen des Kniegelenks zukünftig ansteigen wird. Hieraus wird ebenfalls eine Zunahme periprothetischer Frakturen bei und nach Implantation dieses Prothesentyps resultieren.
