Abstract
Maurice Lévy is the Chairman and CEO of Publicis Groupe, the French advertising and communications company. He has been at Publicis since 1971, acting as Chairman and CEO since 1987. The company is now the world’s fourth largest advertising and media firm, advising clients through offices in almost 200 cities across more than 100 countries. Lévy helped turn Publicis into a global powerhouse through a series of important mergers and acquisitions, notably the 2000 acquisition of the British superstar advertising firm Saatchi & Saatchi, the 2007 acquisition of Digitas, and the 2009 purchase of Microsoft’s Razorfish. The Anti-Defamation League recently recognized Lévy for his commitment to promote diversity and tolerance in the workplace.
