Abstract
Edge turbulence measurements represent an important object of current research efforts in understanding plasma confinement in magnetic fusion devices, and studies related to this issue focus, among other things, on quantification of intermittent aspects of the dynamics (e.g. [466]). Studies of MAST (Mega Ampere Spherical Tokamak at UKAEA Culham Laboratory) data are making important contributions to the study of plasma confinement in spherical as well as in toroidal devices.
