Abstract

Many IMO participants have, in their later careers as research mathematicians, ob- tained some of the most prestigious awards for mathematical research – and many successful research mathematicians had, in their youths, participated at IMOs. We list several of the most renowned awards in mathematics, together with those recip- ients that participated at IMOs.
