Erkrankungen des Dünndarms manifestieren sich in Transportstörungen, Resorptionsstörungen, sowie mangelnder Enzym- und Hormonproduktion. Leitsymptome sind Malassimilation, Schmerzen (Koliken), Übelkeit, Erbrechen und Diarrhö.
