Zusammenfassung
In der Viszeralchirurgie ist »primum non nocere« als oberste Maxime ärztlichen Handels kaum zu verwirklichen, vielmehr muss es »primum non nocere quam minimae« (so wenig wie möglich) heißen. Der ideale chirurgische Zugang in die Abdominalhöhle sollte schnell durchführbar, eine gute Übersicht ermöglichen und ggf. erweiterbar sein. Daneben sollte er komplikationsarm sein, d. h. wenig Serome, Hämatome und Infektionen, sowie eine niedrige Inzidenz von Narbenhernien aufweisen.
